FLIR K2

The FLIR K2 is a compact, budget-friendly firefighting thermal camera, priced so every firefighter on the crew can carry one. It helps fire and rescue teams find victims, locate hot spots and move safely through thick smoke.

It shows 160 × 120 thermal images on a 3-inch screen, with FLIR MSX® adding edge detail so rooms and objects are easy to recognise. The K2 is IP67 water-resistant, survives a 2-metre drop and runs about 4 hours on a swappable battery.

The FLIR Si2-Pro™ is perfect for various industrial applications, including:

• Leak Detection: Identify and measure compressed air, gas, and other leaks from up to 200m away, minimizing energy losses and operational costs.

• Mechanical Fault Analysis: Detect bearing defects, misalignment, and other mechanical issues early to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.

• Partial Discharge Detection: Pinpoint electrical discharges in high-voltage systems, assess their severity, and classify PD types for targeted maintenance.

To maintain the FLIR Si2-Pro™ in peak condition:

• Regularly clean the camera’s sensors and microphones using appropriate tools to ensure precise measurements.

• Store the device in its provided hard transport case to protect it from dust, moisture, and physical damage.

• Update the camera firmware via OTA (Over-The-Air) updates to access the latest features and fixes.

• Schedule routine calibration and servicing to ensure long-term accuracy and performance.
