FLIR K85

The FLIR K85 is the high-resolution model in the K-Series, with a 640 × 480 detector that shows fine detail in structures, flames, and people through heavy smoke. Its single-range imaging covers -20°C to 650°C without switching ranges, so there are no delays or frozen images at critical moments.

Five image modes (Basic, Search, Detection, High Heat and White Hot) cover every phase of a call. The camera is IP67-rated, drop-tested to 2 metres, and connects wirelessly to the FLIR Responder app for setup, streaming, and post-incident review.

The FLIR Si2-Proâ„¢ is perfect for various industrial applications, including:

• Leak Detection: Identify and measure compressed air, gas, and other leaks from up to 200m away, minimizing energy losses and operational costs.

• Mechanical Fault Analysis: Detect bearing defects, misalignment, and other mechanical issues early to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.

• Partial Discharge Detection: Pinpoint electrical discharges in high-voltage systems, assess their severity, and classify PD types for targeted maintenance.

To maintain the FLIR Si2-Proâ„¢ in peak condition:

• Regularly clean the camera’s sensors and microphones using appropriate tools to ensure precise measurements.

• Store the device in its provided hard transport case to protect it from dust, moisture, and physical damage.

• Update the camera firmware via OTA (Over-The-Air) updates to access the latest features and fixes.

• Schedule routine calibration and servicing to ensure long-term accuracy and performance.
