FLIR E86

The FLIR E86 is a high-resolution Exx Series camera for inspections that need more detail or higher temperatures. It handles everyday electrical and mechanical work as well as hot industrial processes in steel, cement and petrochemical plants.

Its 464 × 348 detector measures from -20°C up to 1500°C. Interchangeable AutoCal™ lenses cover near and far targets, while FLIR UltraMax® and MSX® give sharp, detailed images. Built-in Wi-Fi uploads results to FLIR Ignite.

• Mechanical Fault Analysis: Detect bearing defects, misalignment, and other mechanical issues early to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.

• Partial Discharge Detection: Pinpoint electrical discharges in high-voltage systems, assess their severity, and classify PD types for targeted maintenance.

To maintain the FLIR Si2-Pro™ in peak condition:

• Regularly clean the camera’s sensors and microphones using appropriate tools to ensure precise measurements.

• Store the device in its provided hard transport case to protect it from dust, moisture, and physical damage.

• Update the camera firmware via OTA (Over-The-Air) updates to access the latest features and fixes.

• Schedule routine calibration and servicing to ensure long-term accuracy and performance.
