The FLIR E96 is the flagship of the Exx Series and FLIR's first pistol-grip camera with 640 × 480 thermal resolution. It lets inspectors survey high-voltage and hazardous equipment from a safe distance and find electrical and mechanical faults quickly.

A range of lens options covers near and distant targets, and a FLIR FlexView™ dual-view lens switches from wide-area to telephoto with one button. The onboard Inspection Route keeps large surveys organised, and images upload automatically to FLIR Ignite.
