FLIR G620

The FLIR G620 is a high-resolution optical gas imaging (OGI) camera for detecting hydrocarbons, methane (CH₄) and other VOC emissions. Its cooled 640 × 480 detector lets inspectors find small leaks from safer, greater distances across the oil and gas supply chain and other industrial sites.

Gas quantification runs inside the camera, measuring leak type and size without a second device. It also offers autofocus, a rotating 4-inch touchscreen, a tiltable viewfinder, and Wi-Fi upload to FLIR Ignite. The G620 is not ATEX certified; for hazardous areas, choose the Gx620.

• Mechanical Fault Analysis: Detect bearing defects, misalignment, and other mechanical issues early to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.

• Partial Discharge Detection: Pinpoint electrical discharges in high-voltage systems, assess their severity, and classify PD types for targeted maintenance.

To maintain the FLIR Si2-Proâ„¢ in peak condition:

• Regularly clean the camera’s sensors and microphones using appropriate tools to ensure precise measurements.

• Store the device in its provided hard transport case to protect it from dust, moisture, and physical damage.

• Update the camera firmware via OTA (Over-The-Air) updates to access the latest features and fixes.

• Schedule routine calibration and servicing to ensure long-term accuracy and performance.
