FLIR IR Windows

FLIR IR Windows let you inspect live electrical cabinets and switchgear with a thermal camera while the panel stays closed. This lowers the risk of arc flash and makes routine electrical inspections faster and safer.

They come in 2, 3 and 4 inch sizes, in aluminium or stainless steel. The broadband crystal lens passes short, mid and long-wave infrared and lets laser pointers and light through, supporting thermal, MSX® and visual inspections. The PIRma-Lock system makes installation easy, and the windows are rated NEMA 4/12 for indoor and outdoor use, up to 260°C.

The FLIR Si2-Pro™ is perfect for various industrial applications, including:

• Mechanical Fault Analysis: Detect bearing defects, misalignment, and other mechanical issues early to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.

To maintain the FLIR Si2-Pro™ in peak condition:

• Regularly clean the camera’s sensors and microphones using appropriate tools to ensure precise measurements.

• Store the device in its provided hard transport case to protect it from dust, moisture, and physical damage.

• Update the camera firmware via OTA (Over-The-Air) updates to access the latest features and fixes.

• Schedule routine calibration and servicing to ensure long-term accuracy and performance.
