FLIR E54

The FLIR E54 is the entry point to the Exx Series, a step up from point-and-shoot cameras for teams doing regular condition monitoring. It is well suited to electrical, mechanical and building inspections across Malaysian industry.

Its 320 × 240 detector measures up to 650°C, with three spot meters and live max/min readings on screen. FLIR MSX® sharpens image detail, and the built-in Inspection Route keeps large surveys organised. Images can upload automatically to FLIR Ignite.

The FLIR Si2-Pro™ is perfect for various industrial applications, including:

• Leak Detection: Identify and measure compressed air, gas, and other leaks from up to 200m away, minimizing energy losses and operational costs.

• Mechanical Fault Analysis: Detect bearing defects, misalignment, and other mechanical issues early to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.

• Partial Discharge Detection: Pinpoint electrical discharges in high-voltage systems, assess their severity, and classify PD types for targeted maintenance.

To maintain the FLIR Si2-Pro™ in peak condition:

• Regularly clean the camera’s sensors and microphones using appropriate tools to ensure precise measurements.

• Store the device in its provided hard transport case to protect it from dust, moisture, and physical damage.

• Update the camera firmware via OTA (Over-The-Air) updates to access the latest features and fixes.

• Schedule routine calibration and servicing to ensure long-term accuracy and performance.
