The FLIR Si2-PD is an acoustic imaging camera for electric utilities and anyone maintaining high-voltage equipment. It finds partial discharge (PD) early, before it turns into a failure or outage, while keeping inspectors at a safe distance.

Its 124 microphones and 2–130 kHz bandwidth locate PD from 0.3 m up to 200 m away. AI-based analysis on the camera classifies PD type and severity with recommended actions, and a 12 MP camera with 8× zoom on a 5-inch touchscreen shows exactly where the problem is.

The FLIR Si2-Pro™ is perfect for various industrial applications, including:

• Leak Detection: Identify and measure compressed air, gas, and other leaks from up to 200m away, minimizing energy losses and operational costs.

• Mechanical Fault Analysis: Detect bearing defects, misalignment, and other mechanical issues early to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
