The FLIR G306 is a cooled optical gas imaging camera for finding sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆) leaks, along with ammonia, ethylene and other industrial gases. It is widely used to check substation circuit breakers and switchgear from a safe distance, without shutting down operations.

High Sensitivity Mode (HSM) makes small gas plumes easier to see, and the rotating touchscreen helps you inspect complex installations comfortably. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® allow instant upload to FLIR Ignite.

• Mechanical Fault Analysis: Detect bearing defects, misalignment, and other mechanical issues early to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.

• Partial Discharge Detection: Pinpoint electrical discharges in high-voltage systems, assess their severity, and classify PD types for targeted maintenance.

To maintain the FLIR Si2-Proâ„¢ in peak condition:

• Regularly clean the camera’s sensors and microphones using appropriate tools to ensure precise measurements.

• Store the device in its provided hard transport case to protect it from dust, moisture, and physical damage.

• Update the camera firmware via OTA (Over-The-Air) updates to access the latest features and fixes.

• Schedule routine calibration and servicing to ensure long-term accuracy and performance.
